A Winters Wood

David Robertson

A series of studies based around a photograph I took in the last snowfall.

The early morning light gave the small woodland a golden, rusted and coppery glow which was almost gleaming and appeared glitter. It last perhaps five minutes before taking on a pink hue ( to follow ) but it was a very special five minutes. I felt priveledged to witness this little play performed not for me but in the modest order of nature. A large Hare was the only other perceived witness to this event, I am yet to decide upon including him. There is more here than meets the and it seems impossible to capture the emotion. Enjoy the journey. x
